Captured in the streets of Manhattan, you will find here some scenery from NYC in 2004.

Capturing light on Polaroid Film via the legendary SX-70 Land Camera, the photograph was immediately manipulated and smoothly destroyed by hand. No digital work is involved in these pictures, besides the reproduction of the photograph itself. For me it was important to make reproductions of the tiny Polaroid Image, then to enlarge these photographs, to show the details which can be explored then.

In 2010 a small catalog was released, and a reissue is done 2024 on the 20th anniversary of that series.
